How Design Comes to Life

Many hours of work and deep thinking often remain invisible at first glance, but they are essential for creating a strong user experience. I follow the collaborative UX design process, consisting of Understand – Explore – Deliver. In my current team, we’ve added a fourth phase: Optimize. In this stage, data-driven optimization plays a key role. We make informed decisions based on real usage data to continuously improve the platform. I draw on a broad repertoire of classic UX methods, from user interviews, personas and customer journeys to usability testing, prototyping, and heuristic evaluations. Depending on the project phase and research goals, I select the most appropriate tools to gain meaningful insights. Accessibility is a core priority in my work. It’s important to me that everyone can use the digital products I help design. I don’t see accessibility as a limitation, but rather as a design opportunity that enhances the experience for all users. Over the past few years, I’ve also built a solid foundation in UX writing. The language within an interface plays a crucial role in usability – clear, empathetic, and inclusive text helps guide users and build trust.
